The number of students signing up for GPC’s Dual Enrollment program has increased 76 percent from last year. There are 116 high school students enrolled this school year–a significant increase from 66 students in the previous year, displaying a growing interest in the advantageous program. There is a total of 813 DE participants campus wide.
DE coordinator Jeff meadors and Administrative Secretary for Dual Enrollment and Honors Programs Julie Locicero spent over 5200 hours making 124 visits to 8 counties in hopes of enlightening high school students to the benefits of DE.
