Position – Pitcher
Cameron Hall a health science major pitches for the GPC baseball team, has been playing ball for quite a while. Hall has played basket ball and football, but baseball is just his game. Hall chose to come to GPC because of the partial scholarship he received as well as the exceptional facilities it has to offer the team.
Hall says “ I received a lot of encouragement from my dad, especially when they figured out I was left handed.”
Hall is no average baseball player, undergoing brain surgery to have a tumor removed the summer before his senior year, Hall was told he may have to put his baseball career on hold. But persistence pays off and he play his senior year and continues to play now.
Hall intends to go onto a four year school to continue his education as well as play ball. A few schools on his radar; GCSU and Western Carolina. He hopes to one day teach and coach. Hall hopes “ to work for the team, to make it to Colorado for the College World Series.”
