“I Have A Dream,” a historical speech that was delivered in 1963, voiced to a crowd of thousands of people in Washington, D.C.
In that speech Dr. Martin Luther King laid out his vision and hopes for the Civil Rights movement.
I would like to recap some of his words and display how his dream is coming true for African-Americans and minorities throughout our country. “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal.”
Though a lot of progress had been made, some work still has to be done. Fortunately as we see here with our fellow colleagues at GPC Newton, that dream has become a reality!!
