Men’s Soccer

Comfortably in first place in region 17 standings, our Jaguars thrashed Emory 9-1 and shutout Broward College 1-0.

In the game against Emory, our team put on a clinic of eight Jaguars scoring goals.

Freshman forward Reece Weldon lead the pack with two goals and one assist.

However, the game against Broward College seemed to be more of a defensive effort with freshman goalie Kekuta Jatta’s nine saves.

Weldon’s one penalty kick sent the Jags home with their win.

Women’s Soccer

Despite losing to South Georgia State on Sept. 22, the Lady Jags won against Georgia Military College 3-0, and Gordon State 2-0. This officially improved their record to 5-3.

Salako Bolanle scored two goals against Georgia Military College and both goals against Gordon.
